Basic Vegetable Soup Diet Recipe ::
Use this below easy vegetable soup recipe as a guide for the above days you are eating soup through the day, there are hundreds of different variations you can prepare in regards to soup, but the base ingredients usually don’t change and you can adapt it to include more of the vegetables you enjoy as well.
This recipe below won’t be just one meal, so be warned, it will make a fair amount of soup, but the benefit of the soup diet is you can make up a big batch that will last for days as you don’t want to be cooking all the time do you?
3 cups of crushed up tomatoes
6 x green onions
1 x bunch celery and tops
2 x cups of fresh green beans
1 x sprig of broccoli
2 x green capsicums
2 x handfuls of spinach
1/2 a cabbage
1/2 a cauliflower
8 x carrots, remember to cut the green thing off the top, it tastes nasty
2 x cups of beef stock, or more if needed to make the soup thinner
2 x tablespoons of chilli powder
1 x tablespoon chunky coarse salt
2 x tablespoons of paprika
1/8 of a teaspoon of cayenne pepper
1 x teaspoon ground black pepper
Prepare the vegetables by cutting them up, you can add more or less vegetables than this to the soup and also gauge how hot it will be as there is a fair bit of pepper and chilli in here too, this makes it a bit more of a weightloss kick starter vegetable soup as the spice will speed up your metabolism throughout the day too.
