Now onto a quick rundown of some of the ingredients in Power Plant Protein for you.
Pea Protein – The pea protein in Power Plant Protein is an organic, dairy free, vegan source of protein for you that is extracted by a fermentation and filtration process. Pea protein has a high natural level of Leucine which has many potential benefits for muscle recovery and repair as well as other benefits. It is a high protein source which is rich in iron, can help with muscle mass, good for overall heart health and much more.
Rice Protein – Rice protein is similar to the pea protein as it’s organic, dairy free. Rice protein also has a high concentration of Branch Chain Amino Acids too which also helps with recovery and much, much more.
Coconut Nectar – Coconut nectar comes from the sweet sap that’s produced in the stalks of the flowering coconut blossom. It’s used as a low GI, nutrient rich natural sweetener.
Sacha Inchi Powder – This is a Peruvian superfood ingredient with a nut like flavour. It is a seed that has been used in traditional medicines for many years and has many benefits related to supporting cholesterol control.
Flaxseed Powder – Flaxseeds are filled with Omega-3 fats, contain fibre, may help with improving cholesterol, supports the lowering of blood pressure, help with flatlining blood sugars, contain protein, help keep you full and are one of the oldest known crops.
Beta-Alanine – This supplement ingredient helps to enhance and benefit overall health as well as helping to increase performance. Beta-alanine is a non-essential amino acid. Some of the benefits associated with Beta-alanine include increases in stamina, increase in performance for short duration exercise, helping to increase volume in training, support the reduction of fatigue and much more.
L-Glutamine – This ingredient is an essential amino acid and helps with digestion, immune function, hydration, repair and recovery. Your body can produce glutamine itself, but it isn’t bad to get extra from the foods you eat and from supplements too.
L-Arginine – Arginine is an amino acid that most people can get enough of through diet, but it doesn’t hurt to get a little more in there. Arginine is a pre-cursor to nitric oxide production in your body. In a nutshell, nitric oxide helps blood vessels to expand to, in turn improve blood flow. L-Arginine also helps to stimulate the release of many other bodily substances.
L-Leucine – L-Leucine is an Essential Amino Acid that is also a Branch Chain Amino Acid too. This amino is one of the critical ones used for muscle repair/recovery and also used in the protein synthesis process too. Leucine can also help with wound healing, the regulation of blood sugars and much more.
