My name is Shane and I run my blogs under the alias of Troy Spro so no one knows who I am and Protein Guy is just an extension of this.
The point of Protein Guy is to put all my knowledge of things protein all in one place.
I started gym training back when I was seventeen and so I have always been around all things protein, whether it be products / supplements, foods, diets or recipes.
I also worked in sales for a supplement company in the wholesale side of things for many years too, so this has kept me up to date with what’s happening in supplements and also in the protein market too.
Here is a brief explanation of what you will find going on at Protein Guy.
This is a vast area that cover can protein supplements and any type of product that can be brought that has a protein level in it.
If you have been or use supplements at all you will know that there is alot of products that have protein in them these days.
Not only supplements either, there are many different types of manufactured products that have protein in them.
I’ll be covering day to day protein products as well as the supplements side of things.
As it says, Protein Foods.
Protein exists in many foods today from pasta to fruit and everything in between.
So I’ll be picking foods our family use each day and writing about what’s in them and of course their protein content.
With so many variations of diets, dieting and diet companies out in the marketplace at the moment I’ll be writing about all of these over time.
High protein diets, low protein diets, protein diets named after their inventor, gimmicky food diets and what their protein content is like.
There is a lot to cover in this category, so I’ll just keep on plugging away at them.
As it says, Protein Recipes.
This is probable the broadest of subjects and it would be easy to write about almost any recipe there is.
I’ll keep it to protein based recipes, so you know that one of the main nutrient ingredients in the recipes will be protein based.
This is a list I’ll be adding to all the time.
It is a list of health food shops, supplement stores, sports stores, chemists / pharmacy, supermarkets and more that you can buy protein from.
Although a pretty big task my aim is to keep it up to date as well, so you will know if a outlet closes too.
If you want to get your protein outlet added to this list, you can ask me here “Add Me“.
That’s about it really, pretty simple.
As you may notice, I do run linked ads and affiliate programs on my sites, this helps me cover costs and helps me to keep doing what I love to do (read about these on my disclaimer page).
If you want to advertise on my sites I am open to this too, leave a comment on my “Add Me” page and I’ll be in touch.
I have kept the social media all in one place so it’s easier to keep up to date with everything.
All I can say is I hope you enjoy the reading as much as I enjoy writing.
